After last night's episode what do you think about old Smokey now? You suggest that he's released when something bad happens to a person and acts as a cleansing agent, but last night the Smoke Monster seems to be an agent of evil. The reincarnated John Locke (who appears to be the MIB) used the old Smokey for destruction. The new group in the temple didn't appear to see old Smokey as a cleansing agent either. Hmmmm.
